Description
O metrosideros é uma planta de folha persistente da familia da Murta e do Eucalipto (Myrtaceae). Esta árvore pode crescer acima dos 25m,. Usualmente cresce como uma árvore de multi-troncos. O tronco e ramos estão algumas vezes cobertos por raízes aéreas fibrosas.
The Metrosideros is a coastal evergreen tree of the myrtle and Eucalyptus family (Myrtaceae). This tree grows up to 25 metres in height, with a dome-like spreading form. It usually grows as a multi-trunked spreading tree. Its trunks and branches are sometimes festooned with matted, fibrous aerial roots.
