Espécime naturalizado da espécie Pica pica (Pega-rabuda) pertencente à Coleção de Aves (MB02-0002120) do Museu Nacional de História Natural e da Ciência. Residente em Portugal com distribuição descontínua, sendo comum no norte litoral e no alto Alentejo, mas pouco comum ou ausente no resto do país. Alimenta-se de invertebrados, frutos e sementes mas também exibe hábitos necrófagos.

Naturalized specimen from the species Pica pica (Black-billed Magpie) belonging to the Birds Collection (MB02-0002120) of the Museu Nacional de História Natural e da Ciência. Resident species in Portugal, common in the northern coast and Alto Alentejo, but rather rare or totally absent from other regions. Dietary items comprise invertebrates, seeds and fruits, but frequently this species also shows necrophagous habits.
