Nesta coleção estão representados diversos filos: Acanthocephala, Annelida, Brachiopoda, Bryozoa, Cephalochordata, Cnidaria, Echinodermata, Mollusca, Nematoda, Platyhelminthes, Porifera, Priapulida, Sipuncula e Tunicata. A coleção tem representantes de bivalves de água doce de todas as espécies da malacofauna nacional.\r\n \r\nA collection of invertebrates non arthropods of MUHNAC was started in 1984, comprising more than 38,785 specimens.\r\nThe collection is an important repository of national biodiversity and Portuguese-speaking African countries. There are also specimens of the other countries of Africa and Europe. In this collection are represented several phyla: Acanthocephala, Annelida, Brachiopoda, Bryozoa, Cephalochordata, Cnidaria, Echinodermata, Mollusca, Nematoda, Platyhelminthes, Porifera, Priapulida, Sipuncula and Tunicata.
